In line with our long-standing relationship with Absa Bank, ClareMart Auction Group will be facilitating the final 2018 Absa Repo Vehicle Auction at the Absa Trade Centre at 9 Ludel Park, off Koeberg Road, Milnerton at 12h30 on Thursday 6 December 2018.
“This particular auction is always a highlight on the retail calendar for vehicle sales, and even more so when it is the final one for year, with both dealers and individuals looking to acquire new vehicles. We urge prospective bidders to make sure they are familiar with the terms and conditions for purchasing an Absa repossessed vehicle so that they come along adequately prepared and fully qualified to make successful bids on the vehicles of their choice,” says ClareMart’s General Executive Director, Andrew Koch.
Registration is on 5 and 6 December from 09h30, and prospective bidders are required to furnish a R5000 refundable registration fee payable by EFT only. It is important to note that cash, debit or credit cards, and cheques WILL NOT be accepted. The vehicles may be viewed the day before the auction, on Wednesday 5 December from 9am to 4pm at the Absa Trade Centre. In addition, the Consumer Protection Act requires that all bidders taking part in the auction must produce their original ID and proof of residence, not older than 3 months.
“Furthermore,” notes Koch, “bidders must be aware, from the outset, that the terms of purchase are the bid price plus 15% VAT as well as a R2000 administration fee per asset purchased. We are anticipating a highly competitive auction as vehicle dealers gear up for the Christmas rush.”
