KEEPING YOUR FINGER ON THE PULSE OF THE PROPERTY MARKET

ClareMart - Record sales of both quantity and quality

ClareMart continues to unlock incredible property investments, despite challenging market conditions.

On the one hand, we have seen some uncertainty in the market, with investors hedging their bets, while on the other hand, we have seen bold moves in the market, with sellers indicating a need to become more liquid and buyers jumping at the opportunity to acquire excellent investment properties, which many obtained at good value over the last few weeks.

“ClareMart’s sales have been extraordinary, not only in terms of the sheer quantity of successful sales in the last 8 weeks, but also the exceptional quality of the properties sold. This, under sometimes harsh economic conditions, and whiletraditional agent sales have stagnated under market pressure,” said Farrell Perling, ClareMart Executive Sales Head.

An integral part of ClareMart’s success is the marketing support infrastructure that has been developed to capacitate our sales staff with the best tools to close their deals and in general there is an even spread of sales from the various sales consultants. However, one of our most senior consultants, Anton Koegelenberg, has simply outdone himself, clinching a record seven sales in as many weeks.

Just by one man’s hand, a Kuils River commercial property with three national tenants, sold for a staggering R17 505 500 while in the Southern Cape, a George farm, with upside rental income, sold for R1 973 550 and a factory in Strand for R6 275 000. He sold a Langebaan development site close to the ocean, for R747 150, a three-bedroom Sunningdale home for R 1 613 875 as well as a spectacular Baronetcy Estate home in Plattekloof for R 9 789 000.

Some of our other sales include a Sea Point development site with leisure tourism potential, for R6 500 000 and a magnificent Constantia property, for the discerning investor, that sold for an impressive R 37 437 500. Furthermore, a cosy 2-bedroom home in Harfield Village Claremont went for R1 839 745 while a development site with commercial zoning in Delft, sold for R1 226 500.

Not every property sells on the auction floor, but ClareMart is able to offer holistic property solutions that enable us to connect willing buyers to willing sellers. Several other deals are in the pipeline and it is no surprise that more and more people are turning to ClareMart to address their property needs.
