Luntu Sebatane

Chairperson

Luntu is an experienced commercial attorney and general counsel. She holds a BCom Law degree, majoring in economics and was admitted as an attorney in 2009. Luntu held positions at Anglo American, the Omnia Group, The De Beers Group, Webber Wentzel Attorneys and Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr. She brings depth of knowledge and forward focused approach.

Marcel Golding

Non-Executive Director

In 1994 Marcel Golding was the chairman of the Mineral and Energy Porfolio Commitee and the Founding Chairman of the Mineworks Investment Company Pty Ltd. Mr Golding is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of Hosken Consolidated Investment Ltd and was Chief Executive Officer of ETV until 2014. He is Director of Tsogo Sun, Rex Truform Clothing Company Ltd, Vunani Ltd and African & Overseas Enterprises Ltd. He has B.ARTS (honours) degree from the University of Cape Town.

Catherine Lloyd

Non-Executive Director

Admitted as an attorney to the Side Bar in 1997, Catherine Lloyd obtained a BA LLB from the University of Cape Town and was admitted as a Notary and Conveyancer and has a Diploma in Corporate Law. Catherine was a Director of Attorney Haarhoffs Incorporated and served until 2015. Her expertise is in the area of Property Law, Mining and Mergers and Acquisitions. She presently serves as a General Legal Counsel advising on Strategic Management Investments and Property Law. She sits on the Board of Mid-Tier private companies where she acts as Company Secretary.

Jonathan Smiedt

Founder

A qualified attorney, Jonathan Smiedt successfully practiced law in Cape Town before forming the ClareMart group. He is also an appointed Appraiser to the High Court and a Professional Valuer. Jonathan is a founder member of the South African Institute of Auctioneers and assisted in drafting its code of conduct and constitution. One of the most respected auctioneers in the country; he has conducted some of the largest auctioneering sales of agricultural, commercial, residential property and hotels.

Andrew Koch

General Executive Director

Recognised as one of the leading auctioneers in South Africa, Andrew is a natural public speaker with 19 years’ experience in the business, conducting many of the highest value property auctions in the country. He displays a passion and professionalism that sets a new standard for the auction arena.

Zain Amod

General Manager

Zain qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 2011 and has extensive, audit, investment banking and stock broking experience with a focus on the health care, media and property sectors. He holds a B.Bus.Sci (Honours Finance) degree, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting.

Marc Roberts

Financial Manager

A qualified accountant, Marc has years of financial management experience, with a particular interest in the property sector. He takes pride in running a professional, expert financial division, ensuring the highest industry standards and practices are maintained at all times.

Glen Harris

Auctioneer and Senior Auction Consultant

Glen is an accomplished and qualified auctioneer and real estate practitioner, with a track record in sales that spans nearly three decades. He has worked with top national brands, and is no stranger to awards and recognition for outstanding achievements and sales success. He has facilitated both fixed property and movable asset auctions across the country and has a particular passion for developing and nurturing aspiring entrants to this lucrative profession.

With a background in Economics, Farrell brings invaluable business acumen to the team. He is staunchly dedicated to the ClareMart philosophy of finding the right buyer for the right seller and has proven his strategy by delivering consistent results to clients over the years.

Josh is a highly experienced and effective real estate professional with 19 years experience in the industry both nationally and abroad. This includes sales, rentals, maintenance and security. An entrepreneur par excellence, he has a holistic understanding of the real estate market with extensive knowledge of both the auction model and traditional real estate channels. With a can-do attitude, the ability to be resourceful in finding solutions and a strong drive for success, Josh has facilitated countless transactions with win-win outcomes.

Sanjeev Boyjoonauth

Senior Auction Consultant

Agent, Lutchmun “Sanjeev” Boyjoonauth holds a Certificate in Property Development from the University of Cape Town and has been recognized with several awards from various property and real estate organizations. Hailing from Mauritius, Sanjeev has a passion for the dynamic South African real estate market and has been a principal agent with his own firm.

Anton Koegelenberg

Anton joined the Group in 2014 and quickly proved his mettle in the commercial property sector. His experience in construction, plumbing, electrical and carpentry lends him a hands-on knowledge of development needs. He is a qualified Estate Agent and holds an NQF 4 certificate in Real Estate and has consulted and brokered for a number of years for industrial and commercial property firms as a letting and sales agent. His personable attitude and ground roots approach has seen him succeed in the dynamic and fast paced auction industry.

Auction Consultant

Lisa has over 16 years experience in business administration and stakeholder relations and holds a business qualification from Damelin. She has worked in a range of corporate environments with a strong focus on ensuring maximum benefit from well managed business relations. She brings with her a keen eye for detail, strong client relations experience and the ability to maintain excellent stakeholder engagement which is hugely beneficial in the property sector.

Jonathan Abramowitz

Jonathan is a team player who is equally comfortable leading a team and putting shoulder to the wheel. He has extensive sales experience gained in the media industry, as well as significant operational and client relations experience in the hospitality sector. No stranger to sales targets, Jonathan is able to think outside the box, find opportunities and close deals successfully, to the satisfaction of all parties. He holds a tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management.

Sachin Boyjoonauth

Sachin is a Bcomm Graduate who recently joined the ClareMart sales team, and comes with a healthy dose of enthusiasm and hunger for success. He embodies entrepreneurial spirit and has already been a co-founder in a tech start-up that specialised in video production and editing. Hailing from a family of entrepreneurs and business owners, the values of good client service and ethical business practises are firmly cemented and Sachin is already earning his stripes in property sales.
